Get set for Ballina Cup day
Ballina’s big social event of the year, the Slipway Hotel Ballina Cup, will be run on Thursday, September 8.
As well as plenty of action on the track, there will plenty to keep racegoers interested off the track, with live music, a fashion parade and the popular Fashions on the Field.
The main prize this year in Fashions on the Field is a trip to Cairns.

Punters will be able to get into the spirit of Cup day when a calcutta is held at the Slipway Hotel on Wednesday, September 7, from 5pm.
Race-goers also should note that unaccompanied minors will not be admitted, and that under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (parent or guardian) at all times on-course.
Race-goers aged 18 to 25 will be wrist-banded, and ID is required.
