Ballina Art Society Exhibition – The Naked Truth
Ballina Art Society have bared it all for their 45th annual exhibition coming up on 2nd – 4th June. To be held in the Ballina RSL auditorium, the show will feature a new section of paintings under the heading of “Wild Nudes”, to be judged by Ballina Mayor, David Wright. All these paintings will be offered for a “silent auction”, so come along and make a bid to take one of them home with you!
Apart from the “Wild Nudes”, the more traditional sections such as landscape, still life and abstract will still be well-represented. Steven Giese from Lismore TAFE will judge these paintings, all of which will be for sale.
Also for sale during the exhibition will be the club’s new colouring in book composed of original drawings by club members.
The exhibition is free to the general public and open from noon Friday 2nd June from noon till Sunday 4th June at 4pm. It will be officially opened by local actor and arts enthusiast Mike Sheean on Friday, 2nd June at 6pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, so come along for an enjoyable evening.
