Smart phone course for seniors
Ballina Shire Council’s program Broadband for Seniors is launching a new course this month to help our local seniors discover the magic of smart phones.
“The Smart Phone Course for Seniors is a two-hour course delivered by knowledgeable local volunteers to help seniors learn more about their smart phone,” said Team Leader Community Facilities, Ms Sara Hayes.
“The free course will cover the fundamentals of operating a smart phone, including using the internet, sending text messages and emails, using apps and more,” said Ms Hayes.
The program will roll out from 24 to 31 July 2017 at Council’s Kentwell Community Centre at 20 Bangalow Road, Ballina.
While the course is free, places are limited and bookings are essential.
