School Liaison Police Officers get a new beat

Holidays are over and for returning high school students it will be their new School Liaison Police Officer who will greet them in 2007.
In 2006, the NSW Government announced the creation of 40 School Liaison Police, which has led to their launch at local high schools as of tomorrow.

Lennox Head-Alstonville Surf Lifesaving Club juniors continued their outstanding form at the Country titles at Port Macquarie today, finishing runners-up to Cudgen Headland in the pointscore.
Cudgen totalled 309 points, Lennox was on 236.5, followed by Warilla-Barrack Point 224.5.
Cudgen won the overall pointscore with 760, ahead of Warilla-Barrack Point (732.5) and local club Port Macquarie 395.5.
