Hellgraze skateboard bearings "8balls" are manufactured to ISO9002 standards. The standard material for precision grade ABEC 3, ABEC 5 and ABEC 7 is consumable electrode vacuum melted SAE 52100 high carbon, chrome alloy steel. This extra clean bearing steel goes through many processes including vacuum degassing, machining, heat treatment, tempering, precision grinding and super polishing before these precision bearings become a reality.
