Northern Rivers Skin Cancer Clinic
Thie clinic is staffed by doctors with extra training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer as well as the repair of sun damaged skin. Computerised mole imaging is available as well as all medical and surgical skin cancer treatments. We have a special interest in photodynamic therapy for skin repair. All doctors are involved in teaching an research.
Dr Jeffrey Keir, MBBS, BA, MFamMed(Clin), DipPracDerm, ACCAM, CertSkinCaMed, FSCCANZ, FRACGP. Dr Keir is the Chair of the Research Committe ofthe Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zeland and has presented research into melanoma internationally.
Dr Karen Jenkins, MBBS, CertSkinCaMed, CertSkinCaSurgery, FRACGP. Dr Jenkins has been involved in teaching doctors skin cancer skill and is completing a postgraduate degree in skin cancer.
Dr Paul O'Brien, MBBS, DipClinNutrit, DipSkinCaMed, FRACGP. Dr O'Brien has been involved in skin cancer teaching.
