The seaside village of Lennox Head is situated between Ballina and Byron Bay and is named after the headland that stands sentinel at its southern gateway.
Welcome to Lennox Head the legendary holiday and surfing spot
Take in the breathtaking views and watch the migratory humpback whales from May to October or wait for the breeze to lift you in your hanglider. Lennox Point (as it is also known) has a legendary near perfect right-hand break that attracts surfers from around the world to this beautiful village.
Dine in one of the many restaurants or shop for surf and resort wear in the main street shopping centre where you will find the pace is as relaxed as the people.
To the north of the village lies Lake Ainsworth only a few metres from the surf, where its tannin stained waters are a favourite sailboarding, canoeing and swimming spot. Stay for the day or camp overnight in the regulated Caravan Park.
Seven Mile Beach is, yes, seven miles of pristine, sweeping coastline running alongside coastal heath lands that burst into colourful display during the Summer months.
