Rugby league holds a special place in the sporting heart of Ballina and the Northern Rivers. When the community was asked to select its League Team of the Century, it sparked passionate debate and celebration of the many talented players who have represented Ballina on the rugby league field.
The selection honoured decades of rugby league excellence in the region, from local club competitions through to players who went on to represent at state and national level. The team represents the very best of Ballina’s proud rugby league tradition.
