New stairs at Lennox Point provide improved access to one of Australia’s most iconic surf breaks. The Lennox Head point break, famous for its long, perfect right-hand waves, is now easier and safer to access thanks to the upgraded stairway from the headland to the rock shelf below.
The stairs replace the old informal access track, which had become eroded and dangerous. The new structure is built to withstand the coastal environment and includes safety rails and non-slip surfaces.
The upgrade was welcomed by the local surfing community and visitors who travel from around the world to ride the famous Lennox Head point break.
