Love Lennox Festival

The Love Lennox Festival is an annual event where our community comes together to celebrate everything there is to love about living in Lennox Head!
The Love Lennox Festival was conceived by the Lennox Head Chamber of Commerce in 2013, who were looking for unique and creative opportunities to promote the local business.
The first Festival was held in July 2013 and was a huge success, with entertainers, musicians, artists and businesses enthusiastic to take part and has been a successful event year after year since.
The event includes food stalls and sample plates from local businesses, surf board swap meets, dog parade, and the day finishes with Jazz by The Sea (ticketed event).

Heirlooms of the Future

This exhibition displays the work by local textile and embroidery group, Loose Threads. They use traditional techniques with a contemporary interpretation, demonstrating excellence in embroidery, confidence in design and a love of textiles.

Lismore Aviation Expo 2017

Attracting over 6000 visitors last year, the Lismore Aviation Expo is back for an even bigger and better celebration of all things that fly, drive and ride.
Presented by FAST Aviation the Lismore Aviation Expo will include aircraft, classic car and motorcycle displays, trade stands, joy flights, market stalls, children’s entertainment and food stalls.
There will be gravity-defying aerobatics, magnificent warbirds and old-fashioned aircraft, helicopters, hot air balloons and much more.
There is something for everyone at the 2017 Lismore Aviation Expo – experienced aviation enthusiasts, people interested in aviation careers or families looking for a fun day out.

Newrybar Public School Fireworks and Fair

Newrybar Public School is set to light up the night sky on Saturday 17th June with its annual fireworks and bonfire spectacular.
There’s plenty to do before the fireworks spectacular with activities on the night such as Tombola, raffles with great prizes donated by local Businesses. There is also great local food with everything from a sausage sizzle, traditional Steak Sandwich, to vegetarian curries, chicken satay, homemade cakes and desserts. There’s also Bun Coffee lending its support on the night.
Entertainment includes a DJ plus plenty to entertain the kids all topped off with the night sky fireworks spectacular at exactly 7.30pm.

Lismore Lantern Parade

The Lismore Lantern Parade is an annual community arts festival held on or around the longest night of the year, being the Winter Solstice. It is recognised as the signature event for the City of Lismore along with the North Coast National.
The festival celebrates community, arts, crafts, workshops, regional cuisine, a spectacular parade, lanterns, parade bands, street theatre, music, carnival dancers, illuminated puppets, fire art and pyrotechnics and much, much more.

Skullcandy Oz Grom Open 2017

The Skullcandy Oz Grom Open returns to Lennox Head for it's 6th year on the junior calendar!
The competition is renowned for the strongest line ups across the age groups of 12s to Pro Junior Age. A full international field is again expected as the event has attracted surfers from ten different countries in previous years.
The event is broadcast live around the world and this year will have the added feature of drone cameras to add to the spectacular action. It is rated as the best Junior Competition in the world.

The Airing of the Quilts
7, 8 & 9 July 2017

Open 10-4pm on Friday & Saturday, 10am-3pm on Sunday
This is the 10th annual exhibition of this spectacular Airing of the Quilts and it will feature quilts from the Alstonville Plateau and surrounding areas. There will be a viewer’s choice award and a challenge (an A4 size mini quilt with 10 being the theme). Shiralee Stitches and the Richmond Valley Woodcrafters will be in attendance.
